DIY Folding Trailers assumes no responsibility or liability for any errors or omissions in the content of this site or for any advice given.  The information contained in this site or any advice that is provided on an “as is” basis with no guarantees of completeness, accuracy, usefulness or timeliness.  It is recommended that you seek the approval of an expert such as an engineer or mechanic prior to completing any task. Every effort has been made to be accurate, however products may vary slightly, due to conditions beyond our control. 

Shipping: Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and all sales are final.  Our shipping policy must be agreed to prior to shipping any product.

If you move forward with the shipping, we go through all the parts within each box to ensure all is accounted for and in good order prior to shipping. We adhere the parts together in the boxes, and tape the boxes well (every inch of each box is taped 3 times with extra attention to the corners), and we use shipping companies that are reliable.

On a rare occasion we have had a light get cracked in shipping, however we do our best to avoid such occurrence; the customer must be aware that there is this risk.  However please read our shipping policy prior to purchase/shipping:

Our shipping policy is the following:  there is no insurance on the trailer or accessories (3 boxes and any accessories being shipped) because it is just too expensive.  Once the shipping company picks up the three boxes from our location, the responsibility of the shipment is between the customer and the shipping company.  Once the shipping company places the shipment at the customer’s destination the product responsibility is on the customer.  Our sale is final, and we don’t accept returns, and we don’t provide product replacement even if damaged during shipping or otherwise. We go to great lengths to ensure all is perfect before the trailer order leaves our premises. We do sell a great product and our customers are quite happy with their purchases and we have been in business since 2010.

Return Policy: Due to the nature of the product, once it has been sold we are unable to take the product back due to safety reasons.  However, we do our due diligence to ensure all product is complete prior to any sale.  As most products require assembly we are unable to offer a warranty as we can’t ensure that the assembly, use, and maintenance of the product has been done properly by the customer.

What if I receive a defective product right out of the box and the purchase was picked-up at our location and not shipped?

If you believe you’ve received a defective product, contact our support team at (416) 912-8413. Or, you can simply contact us online and we’ll respond quickly with assistance.  If we determine the unit failed right out of the box of course we will make it right with the customer. Any defective product must be returned by the customer, at their expense prior to any granted refund.

Privacy Policy: At DIY Folding Trailers (accessible from diyfoldingtrailers.com and diyfoldingtrailers.com) one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by DIY Folding Trailers and how we use it.
